Students Place First at SLUH Math Competition

Eight 8th grade students and six 7th grade students competed in the SLUH 46th Annual Middle School Math Contest. Our students have been coached by our 7th & 8th grade Math teacher, Mr. John Magee.

St. Gabriel was represented by 3 teams. The 8th grade team consisting of Emma B., Ryan C., Henry F., Sarah H., and Nicholas S. won the contest. They were also one of the top finishers last year as 7th graders.

7th grade - Jimmy S., Henry L., Eva V., Clara B., and Lila G.

As an exciting moment during the competition, Kolbe H. recited 40 digits of the pi to dominate the Pi Competition!
